DISTURBING MUCH?? Who exactly ARE these people - PR or for profit traitors

HMMM - for profit PR consultants for Nations??  Located in Washington DC - Our nation's capitol.  OBVIOUSLY THEY HAVE NOT BEEN DOING MUCH FOR THE US LATELY
(Or perhaps they have - and the "Dubya" administration is just so bad that the image the US has now is the best they could do with what they had to work with.

Wouldn't that be treason - to help (FOR PROFIT no less) other nations gain advantage over the US if you are a us citizen?  Espionage if you are a non-citizen operating within the US??

Perceptions Drive Decision-Making. How is your country viewed by others?

For countries, as for corporations, success in the
global marketplace is achieved through effective
differentiation, based on strategic positioning and
branding.

The art of corporate branding is well established
today, but its application to nations is still in its
infancy. This is because countries are very different from companies, and do not easily lend themselves to traditional corporate branding techniques. But it is also due to countries not yet realizing how much branding can help them achieve their national objectives.

As a thought leader in nation branding and
communications, we offer a unique set of products
and services, from analyzing and tracking how your brand is perceived in the world to helping you refine, manage and promote your brand. These services are designed to help you achieve your optimal position in the global system. Results will range from intangible benefits, such as greater international prestige, to tangible benefits, such as increased inbound investment, exports and tourism.

Because of the confidential nature of our work with
some clients, only general information is provided
here. To find out more about how we can help you
with your branding and communications, please

East West Nation Branding Indexes -- Powered by PerceptionMetrics

Our indexes rank all countries and territories based on how they are perceived in leading international media. We publish results of quarterly research in April, July, October and January. Annual results are published in January. The indexes are based on analyzing millions of mentions in hundreds of thousands of articles every quarter. The first index was published in July, 2008. The East West Global Index 200 ranks all 192 UN members and 8 major territories, by score. The same data can be found ordered by Volume of mentions, Alphabetically and in Regional Indexes.

The top 10 countries for Q3/2008 are listed below, together with the 10 countries that improved the most between Q2 and Q3, and the 10 countries whose scores declined the most in that period.
